Coal Pot Privacy Policy

Effective May 27, 2026. Coal Pot is operated by 1AM Studios LLC. This policy explains how Coal Pot handles information for the app, website, support, analytics, and advertising features.

Information we collect

If you create an account, submit recipes, rate dishes, save bookmarks, follow creators, upload profile information, or contact support, Coal Pot may store the information needed to provide those features. The app may also collect device, app performance, diagnostics, identifiers, approximate location, and usage information through Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, Apple platform services, and related service providers.

How we use information

We use information to operate the app, sync your account and saved recipes, provide support, improve search and recipe discovery, diagnose crashes or performance issues, prevent abuse, and show advertising where enabled.

Advertising and analytics

Coal Pot may use Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads SDK services to request and display ads. Advertising providers may receive device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, app activity, diagnostics, and ad interaction data to deliver, measure, limit, and improve ads. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google policy. Privacy and cookie settings

You can use iOS privacy controls, including App Tracking Transparency and advertising identifier settings, to limit tracking and personalized advertising. If Coal Pot displays an ad consent message in your region, the app should provide a Privacy and cookie settings control to review or update your choices. If you cannot access that control, contact feedback@coalpot.app.

Third-party services

Coal Pot may use Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, Apple Sign In, Google Sign-In, Facebook Login, YouTube or embedded video providers, and email support tools. These services process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Children

Coal Pot is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Account deletion and data requests

You can request account deletion from inside the app profile settings. For help with account deletion, privacy questions, or data requests, email feedback@coalpot.app.

Changes

We may update this policy as Coal Pot changes. The effective date above will reflect the latest version.
